Make It Crafty Texture Challenge

Challenge time again over at Make It Crafty, this months theme is to add texture or pattern. I am still a newbit when it comes to copics, so I did a simple dot texture on this adorable Make It Crafty bear image, and added a bit of glossy accents on the button to make it shiney, and paired it with a pattern paper from LawnFawn.

Lawnscaping Challenge #129

Finally got a chance to play in the Lawnscaping Challenge for the first time in a while.  The theme was to use critters in your project, not hard when we are talking Lawnfawn... so i pulled out my new Hello Baby set, coloured up the cute little ducky with my copics and popped him up on a card front along with some of the cloudy borders die cuts!

This weeks theme over at the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge blog is anything goes... Simon Says: Make it Girlie

Last minute entry for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge . This weeks theme was to make a Girlie card, or project.
So I coloured up a Magnolia stamp with my copics, used a sentiment from the Paper Company, a strip of paper from Pebbles; Fun in the Sun, and finally some random ribbon... nothing says girlie to me like ribbon.

Make it Crafty: Skies #32

Finally got a chance to enter the Make it Crafty colouring challenge, the theme is Skies.  I loved colouring this beautiful unicorn image, and tried to use my copics to draw in a cloudy background... but it was much more difficult then i imagined to colour clouds... but it was so very light, that it didnt ruin the main image so i went with it, added rainbow strips of paper to the back ground and a Hero Arts sentiment.

I just coloured the critters up with my copics, added a paper from LawnFawns Lets Polks in the Dark pack and I was done.

Simon Says: Cute and Cuddly!

Another challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog
Just a somewhat simple card from me this week, this cute monster from Recollections, tried colouring him with my copics using a technique to try and make him look fuzzy, plus I dotted in the background for a mock conffetti effect. I paired him up with Hoot's party hat from Art Impressions, a sentiment from Inkadinkado and some paper from Echo Park.

Simon Wednesday Challenge: Shake it up!

Finally got a chance to play along in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge , this weeks theme was Shake it up.. and so I figured it was the perfect time for me to try my hand at making a shaker card. OMG, people on you tube make it look so easy, but I had so many issues trying to put this thing together, lol, but maybe its just me.
Used a really old but adorable bunny stamp from We R Memory Keepers, coloured it with my copics using a dot technique and paired it with some Dots and Stripes papers from Echo Park.
All and all I am happy with the card, though I doubt id be making another shaker any time soon.

PBSC-February challenge, use hearts or red

Came up with this quick little thinking of you card using one of Penny Blacks adorable hedgie images that I coloured up with copics and then just paired it with a Doodle Bug paper and the card was done!

Art Imressions challenge: Love Love Love!

Art Impressions has some amazing images, and while I dont have many at the moment due to my budget, I did manage to put together this Valentine's day card for the latest Art Impressions Challenge Blog using the Little Whoots image twice, mixed with that little heart string from an older/retired CCDesigns/Sweet November stamp that I had. After that all that was left to do was draw in a few branches, colour these cuties up with some copics, and add in some Echo Park paper to finish the card.

Gerda Steiner Designs February 2016 Challenge

Time for another challenge over at Gerda Steiner Designs. This month was this adorable bunny with a skipping rope, however for my card I trimmed off the rope so that i could make the little critter into a Valentines day card, complete with an adorable sentiment. Then just paired it with a random paper from my stash to complete this simple layout.

Hogs & Kisses

This quick little four-bar sized valentines card makes me smile. I found those enamel letters that super old and very retired stamping up set when cleaning this morning, and this idea popped into my head. Nothing in the least bit fancy, just a super fast, cute and simple card.

House Mouse and Friends Monday Challege # HMFMC212

Found a new challange to play along with today over at the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge blog ... which gave me the perfect excuse to finally ink up the Gifts Galore stamp by Stampendous that I received for Christmas.
Coloured it up with my Copics & other alcohal markers to make all those gifts different shades of pinks and reds, just perfect for Valentines day. The image is fairly large so I just added some matching paper from my scraps (no idea what brand ...sorry) directly to the card base and used some foam tape to pop up the main image, and the card was done!

Lawnscaping Challenge, Sending Love

http://lawnscaping.blogspot.ca/

Another challenge over at the Lawnscaping blog was the perfect time to break out my brand new stamp set. I used all the cups from Love You Alatte and coloured them up with my copics and other alcohal markers, then stamped the swirl sentiment on the solid cup on the inside.
Used two of my favourite LawnFawn papers from the Hello Sunshine 6x6 pad to complete the outside, and I cut little curves out of the corners of the grey polka dot paper to mimic a ticket punch.
I am very happy with how this card turned out :)

Art Impressions challenge 176

Paper piecing challenge over at the Art Impressions blog. I have never been into paper piecing...mainly because I hate fussy cutting all those fiddly images, but I have always liked the look, so when I saw the challenge I figured I'd give it a try. Used one of the girlfriends from the wine tasters set and pieced the outfit together from some simple BoBunny papers ... it was a lot of cutting, lol, but in the end i like how it turned out.
